Privacy Policy

Kizeni Privacy Policy

Version note: effective June 1, 2026; last updated June 1, 2026.

Where This Policy Applies

When you use Kizeni, information may be handled by the app operator and selected service providers for the purposes described in this Policy.

The policy applies to Kizeni itself and to privacy practices controlled by the app operator. Separate app stores, device platforms, payment processors, analytics tools, hosting services, AI infrastructure providers, or linked services may handle information under their own terms and privacy notices.

Information Handling Table

The table below summarizes the main information categories Kizeni may process and the ordinary reasons for that processing.

Processing Purposes

Information is used to provide and maintain Kizeni, including app operation, AI-supported generation, storage of user-directed materials, purchase confirmation, troubleshooting, security monitoring, and legal administration. Processing may also support internal review of app performance and reliability, provided the review is limited to purposes consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

Where a specific legal basis is required, processing may rely on performance of a contract, consent where requested, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the app, compliance with legal obligations, or establishment and defense of legal claims. Consent-based processing can be withdrawn where applicable, although withdrawal does not affect handling already completed on a valid basis.

AI-supported outputs are generated from information made available to the processing systems. Kizeni may use service providers to help process those inputs and outputs, but information is handled for the app purposes described here rather than for unrelated resale of personal information.

Storage and Deletion

Retention periods depend on the type of information and the reason it is held. Operational records are kept for the time needed to run, protect, analyze, and improve the app. Content and app records may remain while they are needed to provide the app experience, preserve user-directed materials, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, or maintain security and audit records.

Purchase and legal records may be kept longer when accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, platform compliance, or legal claim needs require it. When information is no longer reasonably needed, it is deleted, de-identified, aggregated, or otherwise handled in a way that reduces direct association with an individual, subject to technical limits and lawful retention duties.

A deletion request may not remove information already processed by independent app stores, device platforms, or other third parties that act under their own legal responsibilities. Requests involving those services may need to be sent directly to them.

Rights Available to You

Privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information. Some laws also allow appeal of a denied privacy request or withdrawal of consent for future processing. The exact rights available can vary by location, information type, and legal basis.

Requests are reviewed using the information reasonably available to Kizeni and may require steps to confirm that the request relates to the person making it. Kizeni may decline or limit a request where the law allows, including when retention is needed for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, transaction records, or legal claims.

App settings, device settings, and app store controls may provide additional choices for notifications, diagnostics, purchases, or platform-level privacy controls. Those settings are administered by the relevant device or platform provider when they are outside Kizeni's direct control.

Safeguards

Kizeni uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against inappropriate access, use, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, provider review, transport protections, operational monitoring, and limits on internal access to records.

No security measure can make app data handling risk-free. Information transmitted through networks, stored on devices, processed by service providers, or maintained by app platforms may be exposed to risks outside Kizeni's complete control. Security reports or concerns can be routed through the privacy request channel listed below.

Transfer Across Regions

Kizeni and its providers may handle information in more than one country or region. The laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. When cross-region handling occurs, Kizeni uses appropriate safeguards for the relevant processing, such as contractual protections, provider commitments, security controls, and transfer measures required by applicable law.

Cross-region handling may be necessary for hosting, AI processing, diagnostics, support, security review, purchase validation, and legal administration. Information is transferred only for the purposes described in this Policy or as otherwise permitted by law.

Minors

Kizeni is intended for users who have the legal capacity to use mobile apps and make decisions about submitting information. A parent, guardian, or other authorized adult should be involved when local law requires adult permission for app use or privacy consent.

If information from a minor has been provided without the legally required permission, a privacy request may be sent through the contact channel below. Kizeni will review the request and take reasonable action required by applicable law.

Where to Send Privacy Requests

Privacy requests and legally required privacy communications for Kizeni should be directed to contact@kizeni.app.

Requests should be stated clearly enough for review under applicable law. Kizeni may ask for reasonable supporting information when needed to evaluate authority or respond through the proper channel.

Version Record

This Privacy Policy is effective as of June 1, 2026. The latest update was made on June 1, 2026.

Kizeni may update this Policy when app practices, service providers, legal requirements, or operational needs change. Updated versions may be posted in the app, made available through an app listing, or provided by another reasonable method. Continued use after an updated version becomes available means the new version applies going forward, subject to any consent rules required by law.
